We make lightweight, heavy duty fire protection systems for commercial and naval vessels; the fireMaster® system is certified to meet most national and international military standards. And we are at the forefront of improving security systems at border controls, where our custom ceramic and metal assemblies are used to improve the image resolution of luggage and cargo scanners and our Diamonex™ diamond-like-carbon coatings are used in fingerprint swipe sensors.
We are a critical resource supplier to the UK Ministry of Defence and have supplied tactical wheeled vehicles and equipment for use in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are designated a tier 2 supplier of ceramic body armour plates to the US Department of Defense.
We provide comprehensive fleet management and support services for defence and security vehicles from design of the armour system to manufacture, installation and spares provisioning. We also repair and refurbish vehicles in theatre or upon return.
Our piezoceramic components are highly versatile, stable and durable, even in challenging operating conditions making them ideal for use in custom sensor and transducer systems. We are a major supplier to the manufacturers of power tubes used in image intensifiers, electronic counter-measures and communications equipment.
Our rotary transfer products are specified for their high reliability for use in military vehicles operating in the harshest conditions, such as tanks turret systems, specialist robotic mine detectors and helicopter rotors. They are also used in radar systems.
